Ever since winter break came to an end, we have all been counting the days until spring break. This much-needed break always ends too fast, leaving you feeling as though you have done nothing worthwhile to enjoy your break and dreading going back to the same old routine. If you feel as if your break never lasts long enough, then you have to find a better way to take advantage of it. There is a trick to ensure that you have a better spring break: going out and doing something productive rather than staying home. Stuck on what to do during the break or simply need some inspiration? Take the following quiz to see what you should do in order to make the most out of the week you have off from school.

What Your Results Mean:

Go to the Beach and Ride the Waves: We live in a beautiful city with tourists visiting its amazing sites. Yes, Miami natives can view the beach as basic because we are so accustomed to it, but going to the beach is fairly inexpensive, and it is a classic way to spend a vacation. If you feel that going the beach will be boring, then learn something new when you go! There are so many things you can do at the beach, but you have to do some exploring and think a little bit outside of the box.

Get in Your Car and Explore: You need a change of scenery, and spring break is the perfect time for you to travel! Visit a new place, going out of your comfort zone to explore. Go to a new restaurant that you have been dying to try out, or spend some time at one of Miami’s parks. Another option you have is going on a road trip with your family or friends!

Hours and Hours of Community Service: It is no secret that many of us are procrastinators. If you have not done any community service, then focus on building those hours up this break! Volunteering is a productive way for you to spend spring break instead of vegetating on your bed while watching an unhealthy amount of Netflix. Additionally, most scholarships and colleges require you to have a certain amount of community service hours, so you can kill two birds with one stone- just make sure that you are not doing it just for college, but also to have fun while helping your community out.

Spend Some Time with the Besties: You are always stressing out about deadlines, tests and homework. However, because of spring break, you now have the option of hanging out and focusing on your relationship with your best friend for a week. Surrounding yourself with your friends allows you guys to make new memories that you will look back on in a couple of years.
