Irela Montelongo, CavsConnect Staff Writer
Irela Montelongo is a junior at Coral Gables Senior High going into her second year of CavsConnect. She joined CavsConnect in hopes of improving her writing and maybe one day following in the footsteps of her uncle who is a renowned Cuban author. In her spare time, Irela enjoys expressing her feelings through her paintings and clay sculptures. She loves spending time outside, but she loves it a little extra in the night time, primarily because she loves the way the air smells at night, one that reminds her of the childhood bed time stories her dad would tell. Irela enjoys reading in her spare time; her favorite book is called "The four agreements". She loves listening to music and playing her guitar every now and then when she remembers she knows how to play. This year, she hopes to put forth her best efforts and make the best out of her junior year.
