Maia Berthier

Maïa Berthier is a sophomore in the International Baccalaureate program at Coral Gables Senior High. This is her second year in CavsConnect, and she wishes to gain experience as an editor and continue to improve her writing skills. She aims to make her sophomore year at Gables count by keeping a high grade point average throughout the year. Maia is on the board of the International Baccalaureate Honor Society, Gables Earth, and the Political Activism and Civic Engagement club at Gables, along with being Secretary of Field Trips of Student Activities. This year, Maia wants to work on balancing her time effectively between the many activities she is passionate about. Outside of school, she loves to take part in several student activism groups, such as Fridays For Future Miami and Students Demand Action. For leisure, Maia enjoys running, dancing, doing yoga, and spending time with her family and friends.
