Edgar Perez is a senior in the International Baccalaureate program starting his first year in CavsConnect as a staff writer. He is excited to extend his writing proficiency into the realm of journalism and go beyond the occasional poem or college-level paper. He is quick to lend a helping hand wherever it is needed and is never one to shy away from a challenge. Elsewhere on campus, Perez serves as a member of Key Club and Vice President of the Coral Gables Health Information Project. In his off-time, he can be found listening to all genres of music (except country), whipping it up in the kitchen and completing a wide variety of logic puzzles. Perez is interested in pursuing degrees in finance and statistics but dreams of opening his own restaurant in the future. He has made it his mission to make his final year in high school one to remember for all the right reasons.
