On February 1st, 2017 at 6P.M. in the auditorium, Ms. Stack – Coral Gables Sr High’s CAP Advisor – will conduct a student-athlete specific presentation. Topics that will be covered will include:
– Athletic recruiting
– NCAA eligibility center and how/when to register
– Eligibility (Core Course GPA)
– Keeping up GPA and attaining certain test scores
– Applying on time for ACADEMIC deadlines – be skeptical of recruitment promises
– Small likelihood vs large likelihood of athletic scholarships
– How to look for outside scholarships
– General college tips
