Howard Senior, Copy Editor
Howard Senior is a senior in the International Baccalaureate Academy. His effervescent personality and knack for finding grammatical errors compensate for his small stature; the latter of which explains the reasons behind Howard's continuing to serve as a copy editor on the CavsConnect staff for a second school year in a row. He enjoys immersing himself into contemporary politics, and ergo could be considered quite opinionated. His favorite topics to discuss are the effects of American foreign policy on the international milieu and the actions of the federal government both domestically and internationally.
At Gables, Howard is an active member of the scholastic family and has dedicated himself not only to his studies, but also to many extracurriculars. For example, Howard has served on the National Honor Society executive board since 2014, as senior secretary and liaison. He has also been an active participant in the National Spanish Honor Society since 2014, taking on the role of treasurer in 2015, and was appointed to the position of Secretary of State in the 2015 Student Government. This school year, Howard will also participate in Gables's newest club, the Science National Honor Society, as secretary.
