Q&A

1. What is your full name?

Kevin Lamar Romer Jr.

2. What sports do you play?

Football.

3. What position do you play?

I play receiver, slot and specialty and I have number four.

4. What grade are you in?

I’m a junior, 11th grade.

5. Can you tell us a bit about yourself? Where did you grow up? Anything you feel we should know?

I grew up down South, not too far from here. I like playing football and I’m a nice guy.

6. What made you start to play football?

I can’t really say what started it, but I just tried it. I loved it after that and I’ve been playing for nine years.

7. Do you have any special things you do before games? Any traditions?

I just pray before a game and that’s it really.

8. Who do you look up to and why?

I look up to my friend Z. He passed. We were friends since we were little and we both played football. I dedicate all my games to him.

9. What’s the toughest game you’ve ever played and why was it the toughest?

The toughest game was the Columbus game. It was a tough game because they are disciplined and they’re a good team. We are ready for them this year.

10. What do you expect for the rest of the season?

For the rest of the season we expect for everyone to do their job. That includes practicing and working hard, doing our assignments, going full speed and learning from our mistakes.

11. Is there any moment where you had thought about quitting?

Yes, one time. It was a hard day of practice. That was right after the Columbus loss and that was that Tuesday when they just dogged up. It was just crazy.

12. Do you want to be a professional athlete? If not, what do you plan on doing?

If I don’t become a professional athlete, I want to try to be a sportsman.

13. What others games do you play?

Aside from football, I play Play Station 4 online and practice other exercise routines.

14. Is there any advice you have for any upcoming football players?

Don’t let anyone tell you what you can’t do. If you love it, give it your 150 percent and run with it.
