DESCRIPTION
The ITWomen Scholarship is administered by the IT Women Charitable Foundation and has its own criteria for selection.
Deadlines and General Information:
• Deadline for all applications is 11.59 PM EST MARCH 28, 2023.
• Applications must be received by this date.
• Do not include any photographs with your application.
• All applications and requested information become the property of the IT Women Charitable Foundation, Inc. (“ITWomen”)
• All information must be supplied. If any information is incomplete, the application will be rejected.
• Should you be chosen to interview with the ITWomen Scholarship Selection Committee, you will be asked to bring information such as your FAFSA Financial Aid and or Tax Returns (IRS 1040 forms) to the interview to substantiate your application.
REQUIREMENTS
To be eligible for consideration, there must be financial need and the following criteria must apply to you:
1) Only females residing in Miami-Dade, Broward or Palm Beach Counties Florida may apply for this scholarship.
2) Your program of study must be in one of the following areas:
– Aeronautical or Aerospace Engineering
– AI (Artificial Intelligence)
– Bioinformatics
– Biomedical Engineering
– Civil Engineering Technology
– Computational Science
– Computer Arts Animation
– Computer Engineering
– Computer Graphics
– Computer Information Systems
– Computer Information Technology
– Computer Engineering Technology
– Computer Programming & Analysis
– Computer Science
– Cryptology
– CyberSecurity
– Database Technology
– Data Science / Machine Learning / Artificial Intelligence
– Data Engineering
– Electronics Engineering Technology
– Electrical Power Technology
– Engineering/Pre-Engineering
– Game Development
– Information Security
– Internet Services Technology
– Management Information Systems
– Network Services Technology
– Software Engineering
– Systems Engineering
– UI Design
3) You must be a high school senior.
4) Applications must be submitted before Midnight March 28, 2024
5) Semi-finalists will be interviewed by the Selection Committee.
6) Finalists are required to attend up to two ITWomen Scholarship events.

IMPORTANT NOTICE:
To be eligible for an ITWomen Scholarship, applicants must have completed and submitted the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). You will be required to submit the resulting Student Aid Report to us if you are selected to interview.
