Jake “Jakey” Borras was born and raised in Miami as a 3rd generation Cuban. He is a senior in the Academy of Finance program at Coral Gables Senior High. It will be his first year in CavsTV, but his last at Gables. He decided to join the publication because he wanted to be more involved in the school, as he enjoys supporting his other jocks at their games. Jake also happens to be a jock himself: he is a baseball player for the Gables varsity team. Social media has a big impact on him, he is an outgoing person who likes to show out his personality. If Jake is not on the baseball field, he can certainly be found covering an event for CavsTV. He hopes to have a great year with his fellow Cavs, and is ready to show what he can accomplish. Go Cavs!
