Isabela Montelongo is a freshman at Coral Gables Senior High, is a driven and a passionate new member of the CavsConnect team. Inspired by her older sister and fueled by a natural love for creativity, Isabela first stepped into the world of journalism during her last year of middle school. Though she was initially nervous, the support and encouragement from those around her helped her open up to something new, and she quickly fell in love with it. What truly drew Isabela to journalism was the power of social media, the creativity it allows and the smiles it can bring to people’s faces. Now, she is excited to be part of CavsConnect, where she will be able to stay involved in school and contribute to the team. Isabela is a proud Cavalier who values both academic success and school spirit. She’s a hardworking student who strives to meet her goals every day, even when she is faced with the temptation to procrastinate. She is known for her outgoing personality and friendly nature; she is always up for a challenge and enjoys staying active. Outside the classroom, Isabela loves shopping , getting ready for an outing, and presenting her best self wherever she goes.
