Gabriela McGrath Moreira is a sophomore in the International Baccalaureate program. This is her second year in CavsConnect and her first year as an OverFlow Editor. She hopes to continue to improve her writing and editing skills by working in the publication. Gabi is on the board of Model United Nations, part of Gables Earth, the IB Honor Society and the founder of the Climate Leadership Information Program. She is a young activist who is passionate about spreading climate awareness and action at Coral Gables Senior High. She loves being involved as well as learning and teaching herself about the world around her with her love for nature being the main way she does this. Her other hobbies include running, reading, listening to 70s and 80s music and partaking in intense discussions about controversial topics. Gabi loves being a part of CavsConnect as it has given her an opportunity to develop her writing and provided her with a community and family. She hopes to learn something new from everyone she meets during her time in CavsConnect.
