For the month of December, teachers decorated their doors to showcase their artistic abilities and holiday spirit. With winners ranging from snow globes, to gingerbread houses, to Cuban-inspired cardboard decorations; the hallways were adorned with holiday items and Gables pride. Congratulations to the winners: Ms. Leal-Garcia in first place, Ms. Monzon in second, and Ms. Gonzalez in third!

On November 9, Cavaliers wore red and three red spirit items in order to attend the Fall Sports Pep Rally. Seniors Lawrence Stampino-Strain and Romulo Delgado presented the fall sports teams and riled up the crown with some Gables spirit. Team captains played an intense game of musical chairs, the Gablettes performed, and the Cavman made a special appearance. After several tries from students, Mr. Nelson got dunked into the dunk tank to end off an amazing pep rally.

Why Gables? Since the year 1950, Coral Gables has been around providing students with the opportunity to grow educationally and as individuals. Our school offers a wide variety of academic courses, extracurricular activities, athletic opportunities, and support. Here at Gables we are scholars, athletes, college bound, creative, champions, but most importantly we are Cavaliers.
