Penelope Acevedo, highlights newsmagazine staff writer

Penelope Acevedo is a rising freshman in the International Baccalaureate program. She was born in Connecticut but grew up in Alabama for most of her life. Penelope enjoys painting her nails every other day and reading. By joining highlights she hopes to get more experience in journalism while meeting new people. Penelope hopes to be in college in the future studying her passion, which changes with each new show she’s currently watching.
