Wednesday, Feb. 20, the Cavalier baseball team stepped up to the plate and faced off against the Columbus Explorers. The game was well played for the Cavaliers, but they suffered a tough loss of 2-1.

“Of course, you never want to lose a close game, especially to your rival team. I think that the only part that needs to be improved is the mental part at least in my part you know this is a game of failure and when things go wrong we just need to forget about it and move on. I just feel we weren’t mentally there the entire game. And I had a mental lapse during that error I made and I can say I throw the lost on my back and promise to pick my team up the next time we play any team” junior Elijah Eusebio [#0] said.

The first part of the game started out with a tough back to back no score game. [insert more stats when I get them]

”] I think we played [a] good baseball [game] today despite a couple errors that were made, I am content with how we competed! Go Cavs

Although the cavaliers faced a tough loss, they are sure to bounce back up and hit the next team out of the park, which will be Wednesday March 4th against South Miami at Gables at 3:30. Be there and support the baseball team on their hopefully state championship bound triumph!!
