When you’re gathering around the living room with your family for the holidays, doesn’t your stomach ever grumble as you anxiously await for the delicious food to be prepared? That’s the sound of hunger and a sign that to fulfill it, you must have some snacks! Some easy holiday snacks you can prepare are:

1. Sugar cookies: These heavenly snacks are found year-round at any local supermarket. They are made of soft, creamy butter which makes the texture of the cookie one-of-a-kind. Directions on making the cookie can be found here.

2. Hot chocolate/cocoa: The best thing to drink for the winter season is a cup of hot chocolate with marshmallows on the surface. It’s soothing and sweet, but the best part is, it’s easy to make. Instructions here. On the other hand, hot cocoa is similar to hot chocolate, the only difference is that hot chocolate is made of melted chocolate and hot cocoa is made of cocoa powder. Either way, they taste deliciously similar. To make other hot drinks for the chilly weather, click here.

3. Eggnog: This sweet, cold and creamy milk-textured drink is a must this holiday season. The drink is made with eggs and different flavorings to be able to feel the holiday joy dancing on the tip of your tongue. The recipe for making the drink can be found here.
