Our rating: B

Aired on November 24, 2005, The Office is an American television comedy series that was an adaptation of the BBC series with the same name. The series is based around the everyday lives of office employees in a fictional paper company called “Dunder Mifflin”. The series was not an instant success because of its dry humor and corny jokes. But, after the show caught on it attracted a huge fan base. Later seasons were criticized because of a decline in the dry humor of the show but the series ended on a good note. The Office won four Primetime Emmy Awards, including Outstanding Comedy Series in 2006. This show has many happy and sad moments, that being said The Office is a must see!

“The Office is one of my favorite shows, my laptop is covered with stickers inspired by the series. I love talking to other people about the show and their favorite episodes. The show gets boring towards the end but I love it and would recommend anyone to watch it,” senior Ruth Zagales said.

 The Twilight Zone

Our rating: C+

Created by Rod Serling, The Twilight Zone is an American anthology series. All episodes vary in genre, including horror, psychological, suspense, and fantasy. Most episodes conclude with an unexpected twist and a moral lesson. The series was so successful that it led to a feature film, a radio series, a comic book, a magazine, and many other spin-offs that spanned over five decades. This show has its quirky moments. Since every episode has a different theme, each catering to different genres. No two episodes are alike, making it difficult to grow tired of the show. Because every episode is so different it may get confusing, but despite this all five seasons are enjoyable and entertaining to watch.
