Diego Llobell, Staff Writer
Diego Llobell is a junior at Coral Gables Senior High and currently serves as a staff writer for CavsConnect. His aspirations are to continue being the golden student of his year, winning gold in his freshmen and sophomore year. Balancing academic responsibilities and physical fitness is a main priority for him. He hopes to join Gables’ soccer varsity team, the track team, and is currently doing swimming with the school. One of his driving motivations is to be more involved and cooperative with classmates and teachers. Diego has travelled a lot in his high school years, including places like Prague, Paris, Milan and Bariloche. CavsConnect is one of his first steps into a new school environment and it is a great opportunity to meet wonderful people.
Carola magaldi is a sophomore in the International Baccalaureate program in Coral Gables Senior High. She is excited for her first year at Cavs Connect and is looking forward to the fun times ahead. Caro is part of the girls varsity Soccer team, and is also in the IB club, Key club, and Gables Wellness, as she likes to be involved in her school. Her goal for this year is to balance her academics, social life and her extracurricular activities.
Luna Vargas, CavsConnect Staff Member
Luna Vargas is a senior in the International Baccalaureate program, and this is her first year joining CavsConnect. She is excited about this opportunity to become involved with the school and play a pivotal role in the school’s social media efforts. Luna is a member of the International Baccalaureate Honor Society, participates on the volleyball team and is part of the Garden Project. She hopes to become more involved within her school in the next two years. As Luna’s year progresses, she aspires to balance her social and academic responsibilities by maintaining her grades while also enjoying quality time with friends and family.
