The annual Pink Pep Rally was held today during last block. Held annually to spread awareness and raise funds for the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer fund, students purchased tickets to the Pep Rally for $2 during morning hours. With performances from the cheerleaders, Gablettes and Gables drum line, the Cavalier spirit was seen by all performing. Not only did the Pink Pep Rally spread awareness on the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer fund, it was also held to encourage students to come see the Gables vs. Miami High football game on October 11th at Tropical Park.
